In very rare occasions the Conversion Service fails to start after installation with a low level Windows Error such as the following.

The most common causes and solutions for this problem are:
- An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is active on the machine running the Conversion Service, e.g. the one that comes with McAfee. This service may not recognise the Conversion Service / Account that is running the service and stops it from starting up. The solution is to add the Conversion Service as an exception (Muhimbi.DocumentConverter.Service.exe).
- A rule may be enabled in your anti-virus software that stops executables with multiple periods in the filename from executing. Either disable this facility or add the Conversion Service as an exception (Muhimbi.DocumentConverter.Service.exe).
- The account the Conversion Service is running under may be corrupt. Create a new account that has local Administrator rights, and is allowed to Log-on as a Service and use that as the Conversion Server service account.
