The PDF Converter supports a large, and growing, number of file formats. For input as well as output.
Input file types include the vast majority of file formats encountered in a typical business environment including MS-Word, Excel, InfoPath, PowerPoint, HTML, MSG, Visio, AutoCAD, PDF and images.
The converter supports the conversion to non-PDF formats as well, e.g. InfoPath to Word or Excel, Excel to MS-Word, DOC to DOCX etc.
It is also possible to integrate third party converters in order to support more esoteric file formats such as PCL, XPS, HPGL, CGM etc. For details see this KB article.
As of version 7.2.1 it is possible to select a number of additional output formats, specifically TIFF, PNG, GIF, JPG, PS, BMP, PCL. The converter does not (yet) natively support these output formats, but support can be added using third party converters.
As of version 10.1.2 it is possible to extract forms data from PDF files by converting PDF files to FDF, XFDF, or XML.
